UPS Oversize Packages

Oversize 1

A package is considered oversized 1 (OS1) when all of the following conditions apply:

• The package's combined length and girth exceed 84 inches.
• The package's combined length and girth is equal to or less then 108"
• The package's actual weight is less than 30 pounds

For each OS1 package the billable weight is 30 pounds.

Oversize 2

A package is considered oversized 2 (OS2) when all of the following apply:

• The package's combined length and girth exceeds 108 inches.
• The package's actual weight is less than 70 lb.
• The package's combined length and girth is equal to or less then 130"

For each OS2 package the billable weight is 70 pounds.

Oversize 3

A package is considered oversized 3 (OS3) when all of the following apply:

• The package's combined length and girth exceeds 130 inches.
• The package's actual weight is less than 90 lb.
• The package's combined length and girth is equal to or less then 165"

For each OS2 package the billable weight is 90 pounds. There is also a Large Package Surcharge of $45.00 per package in addition to the 90lb. rate.

UPS Standard to Canada package is considered OS3 when it's combined length and girth is equal or less than 165", and actual weight is less than 150lbs.

For each UPS standard to Canada OS3 package, the billable weight is 150lbs.

Oversize for Express

Packages more than 108” but less than 119” in length, or greater than 130” in length plus girth, will be charge the highest of the actual weight or the dimensional weight, or the 90 pound rate, plus a $45.00 Oversize package charge.
